With a not uncommon perception that the use of stone, traditional stonemasonry, tools, techniques and materials is on the decline the aim of this directory is to have a prescence to influence and help improve this unfortunate perception by promoting stone and educating in the properties, working techniques, beauty and use of the noblest of natural building materials.
